you will need to keep an air pump in a bucket with all or as much of your filter media as you can,with tank water.don't clean the sponges or media.i have used 5 gal.buckets/with pumps to transport fish but,if you don't have one,a big food cooler would be a good investment.remember the tank might not get set up fast.cooler will help keep temp.steady.

I'm getting styrofoam boxes wit air pumps for fish that is 5 gal and then a 2 big buckets for water from all my tanks with filter media

I made the move from Tampa to okeechobee than okeechobee to spring hill. just keep the media wet ul be fine.I use rubbermaid containers for my big fish with aerators and for smaller ones I use 5 gallon buckets
