yesterday i got a female convict from my friend cause he needed his 10 gallon for fry. I put it in thinking if it caused problems my pbass would step in and my friends dad told me if there was aggresion issues to put a cup over the convict so i put a cup over it for five minutes and did my weekly water change now Flash (my pbass) wont move from one spot on the bottom,he wont eat anything,and has his stress colors. and its worrying me

Give him some time see what develops but Ya take the cup out. Sounds like a small bass. You probably stressed it out getting in the tank so Much and moving things around.
I did it was in there for 5 minute yesterday and he's still like it today I tried feeding this morning when I normally do and he wot move a muscle

Is the bass breathing really hard? Ya I think over stressed. Make sure you have oxygen going in the tank and if you have some aquarium salt I would throw a little in just to help with oxygen and slime coat. About 1 tablespoon per 10 gallons or 20 gallons.
I'd take the convict & cup out, cut da convict up into PB bite size pieces and serve... That's just me..
Lol. Just bring it over to my house and I'll save you the cutting. Mine or mp will eat it In one piece. But I think your friend will want it back. I breed them as food.
