Picked up a geo today he has really shredded fins but it kinda looks like he's breeding through his scales.i added salt and set up a tank for him with an aged filter this tank doesn't have a heater so I will be doing warm water changes daily.what can I do to cure his "scale bleeding" pics down there\/

I would heavily salt as youve done and perhaps add a little white vinegar to the water but watch your PH( vinegar is something ive used personally for bacteria and it is a coagulant). I'd def not leave this guy without a heater...if u have a heating pad put it under or against the tank and watch tbe temp...put it on low or med depending on the tank size u may need to put it on high.
Hope it works out but this is all ive got,

I would also add a nice heavy dose of water conditioner since it replaces their slime coat. This should reduce his stress significantly.

Do as said but do not get hour hope too high.. Sounds like a secondary bacterial infection.

Is it mooving? Has it fed?

What should I get pimafix?melafix? Or should I have my grandma grab prazi pro and wait a couple hours for her to get here?
