Steve, you might want to try to get some PE Mysis. Its a bit of a spendy food, but fish love the stuff.

I was able to pellet train my orinos in a week by melting PE Mysis with hikari foodsticks, massivore, and NLS.

Make the sauce a mixture of more Mysis to pellets at first. This will give your bass the flavor of the pellets, but they will hit the shrimp.

You can freeze the paste, and break chunks off for added effect.

However, as others have said...I'd get some Prazipro, and dose the tank. That dude is SUPER skinny and is probably sick with parasites which could possibly get to the rest of your bass.

I know it's pretty basic info, but can you do a water parameters roll call? We already know about your temperatures, but can you tell us about...

pH?
Hardness?
Ammonia?
Nitrate? (be sure to invert and shake the hell out of the nitrate test bottles before using, or they will give you false lower readings!)
Water change and feeding history for about.... 4 weeks before getting them, up until now?
 
Was able to check the water today and recorded
Ph- 6.6-7
Nitrate-10ppm
Nitrite-2.0ppm
Ammonia-.25ppm
Why would there suddenly be a jump in nitrite, the tank has been running for at least 6 years, what do u guys recommend me doing? Help please?! Last change was last Friday night and added conditioner to get rid of chlorine and have prazipro ready just unsure if I should use it right now.
