Hey MFKers,
My FH has been like this for a couple of days. I've recently moved and haven't had time to set up the tank. He's in a temporary holding container. He's been on his side for a couple of days. I've helped him to his regular swimming position but eventually he went back to this position. Can he be save? Thanks for your help guys.

Doesnt look so good... I see bubbles so im guessing you have some sort of filtration or aeration going. Water looks horrible though. What size holding container is he in and what are you doing to reduce ammonia and nitrates and stuff? Id do some water changes gradually and add a little salt to start

^agreed. Do you have a test kit so you can check the parameters? If that's just airation with out and established filter running the Ammonia and nitrites will kill it. Do a 50% water change and add 1 tablespoon of salt per 5 gallons to help with resperation and ammonia poisioning. In about 8 hours do another 50% water change and change half the water every day. Do not feed for a couple of days to reduce the ammount of waste produced. Once you do start feeding again feed once a day very lightly untill you can get the tank set up.

maybe the plastic container has leached chemicals if params are good?
