OMG a little knowledge is a dangerous thing
I've had some personal issues lately, so maybe i haven't been concentrating as well
Anyway i decided my fish needed to be dewoermed
I looked up a dose for fenbendazole (panacure) and added it to all my tanks
HOLY HELL
I've lost some superviel halfblack angels and a whole batch of nice superviel blushes that i don't have the parents for anymore
Almost killed off my rottkiel pair
my jardini croaked
and i've lost 3 ebjd
Then i stepped on brolken glass and cut my foot
blood everywhere
So I've sent out distress call to some aquatic vets, one said that heavily parisitized individuals or weak ones die
this suks
Ideas/ please help

look i can treat my foot, it's mt poor fish i'm worried about
the fenbendazole's supposed to be fairly safe
i'm trying to figure out what went wrong
anyone with experience with it?
thanks
Judy

:nilly: COME ON PEOPLE! :nilly: SOMEONE OUT THERE HELP JUDY! :nilly: HER FISH ARE DIEING!:nilly:

this is horrible
oh the humanity the humanity
the angels are dropping like flies, the ebjd's are gone
I'm afraid to mess with anything to do water changes
lost a jardini
saved the rottkiel pair with salt and higher temp and hospitalization tanks
have been doing water changes on the angels, the ones on top shelf are fine. the others are dying
other ciclids and the 220 tank inhabitants seem to be fine
oh well i wanted a lower electric bill.
things run their course then i guess chlorox out empty tanks and i will have some happy big tank inhabitants
this sucks....

:screwy: hmm
coincidentally i had just brought home some fancy petsmart goldfish. i figured since i had them in their own tank it would be ok
stupidly forgetting a drop of water can transmit infection i stuk them in my growout tanks since they have such high ammonia production
Dammit:irked:
all i can say is that i've had a lot on my mind lately work, family and personal so wasn't thinking things through
