Anyone know what this is and how to cure it? Been there about 2 months.

It eats and acts like all the other bass. Doesn't get bullied.

Water readings ammonia 0 nitrite 0 nitrate 10 at worst before water change. Water changes are 40% every 3 days

looks like a virus, can not rem the name. good news is while takes along time it eventually shrugs off, I would still run a course of metroplex or polyguard.

Thanks for the quick reply. Is that safe to use when keeping Rays ?

viruses are pretty species dependent, while I can not say for sure this is ussuly the case. if they are all in the same water and it is a virus whole tank already exposed. look at it like fish herpies. cold sores.

seen more common in plecos, my sale fin had one on his lip for almost 2 years before finally shrugging off. never infected any of the other fish. now he is a 12" and nothing to show was ever there. there is no cure.
