HELP

So I was cleaning in another room and while I was out of the room my kids ( 3 yo twins) dumped food coloring into my 55g freshwater tank! I have Just started planting the tank with Java and anubis. I did a 50% water change and that diluted the dye, but it is still really blue. When can I change the water again and how bad will this hurt the fish/plants?

If it is food grade dye and you did the 50% water change the fish probably will be ok. As far as the plants I don't know.
