Hey guys im new to mfk. I have a 20g tank and i need help looking for a monster fish can anyone help me?

welcome to mfk.

in regards to your question, i dont think any "monster fish" can be kept in a 20gal. only thing would be a VERY small baby monster for a VERY small amount of time.

i also have a 60g tank and geting rid of my fish in there so do you know any fish that would be good?

Hiya tenzokenny, Welcome to MFK!
If you define monsterfish as big fish than no, none will fit in a 20g.
If you want a fish that fights other fish there are some nice smaller cichlids, a few of the African lake cihlids and the Apistogrammas cichlids of South and Central America are are fiesty and attractive. Leaf fish and Celebes halfbeaks and African butterfly fish are different enough to be interesting and will gobble down guppies.

If you want a true mini-monster try Phago maculatus, I have heard that 3 can be kept in a 20g but I have only kept singles in a 10g myself. They will kill even larger fish than themselves by slashing off their fins then harrasing them to death, or will kill entire shoals of smaller fish. they get about 8" long at most and this pic show one at a common size for an adult, they are also called the African Pike Characin.

Or You could keep a single Whimple's Piranha or a couple spaghetti eels which will learn to eat earth worms from your fingers.
