30 seconds after I introduced the 2 salvinis I got from Petco into my tank, they just laid down on their sides and aren't moving. Why is this?

Sounds like shock. Just give them time and keep the lights off

Unfortunately if there gills aren't moving at all there possibly dead, have you tried to move them to a qt tank or anything to get them away from other fish.

Also what did you do to acclimatise them to your tank.

I put 1/3 filled a container with my tank water, then dumped the bag water into it so it was 1/2 tank water 1/2 bag water. And then 1 of the fish just laid on its side and 2 minutes later the other laid on its side.
