what is the biggest most comon lungfish available in the states?(actually socal)i wan a juvie

I have quite a few. The biggest one you can get is an Aethiopicus, which gets huge. I am not letting mine go, but I can offer you an annectens, which will grow to 3 feet easy.
PM me if you want one.

I think the largest most commonly available species is Lepidosiren paradoxa, the S. American lungfish. Fast grower in the aquarium (reaches just over 4ft) and is the only budget-wise lungfish thet can be kept in a community set up.

The largest Lungfish is one of the African lungfish species, a fish which can reach a maximal size of 2 metres / 6 feet which makes it unsuitable for hobbyist aquariums. Even the smaller Lungfish species grow very large and should only be housed in huge tanks

Price range for one of my annectens - $20 to $50. depending on size and coloration.

Price range for one of my L. paradoxa (good call, Oddball - but they aren't very common even on here, in my experience.) A baby would be $40, a sub adult $100. (May or may not let one go.)

Let me know. Thanks
