Help!!!

This is the exact same thing that happened to my other texas.. He got beat up then he started to get these red puss spots on his gills and on the side of him.... i noticed him having trouble breathing... here are some pics but i cant figure out how to zoon in on that spot to show you guys up more close... ID please and cure!!!

Looks like saprolegnia or some other secondary infection, a formalin/malachite based med should clear it up, but the meds are hard on scaleless fish like cats and loaches.

Malachite Green is easy to obtain in pet stores.

Clout, forma-green and several other meds all contain the mix and are at most pet stores.
