In my opinion... I think your fish had a "stroke". He will lay there till he passes. He will kick and still have life in him but will not recover. He will die from starvation or just because of his old age. Not tryna be harsh. Sorry.
Trying to recall how I've treated swim bladder issues before it's been years. I want to say I've pulled them out of the water to burp them. It sure wouldn't hurt to try. Anyone else chime in on treating swim bladder issues? Idk if that's what is gong on but it sure seems like it. A lot of people swear by the peas trick also.
I've have been none stop researching everything possible I'm taking treating it as swim badder doing water changes once a day adding salt raising the temp and not feeding will see what happens hopefully he pulls through
