I've never had one so I dont know much about their aggression

are your convicts a pair and in the long run probably will not work maybe if the convicts where both male but these guys can real aggressive

Yea, I've got a pair of 1 blue, 1 black; and a pair of both albino. They get along fine, even the males dont fight when there are 2 nests (luckily they found spots at opposite ends of the tank)
