Hahaha! Well they spawned again. All the original spawn got eaten by other fish in the tank. I'm getting ready to move so I haven't been paying attention too much. Hopefully in a month or so I will set them back up in a tank by themselves.

Hey everyone. Sorry for the lack of updates. We moved houses and my pair essentially went dormant for a while. This is actually a new female after my male turned on the old one and almost killed her. Anyways, here'soon my old male and new female.

They really are when they are colored up like that. When they aren't spawning, they are kind of a big tan fish that you can't keep anything else with. I had to exercise a lot of patience these last 4 months or so, waiting g for them to get back into their groove.
If they're divided in a tank and stessed they're dull. Put it in a tank with other fish, watch the bars turn to spots.
How big are they? You should have tried throwing a bigger fish in there and pull divider down.
