I saw the episode with the wild hogs last night and it was interesting. I liked how he was basically along for the ride and it had a business as usually feel for the people he visited. Did I miss why they sent pit bulls in to attack the hogs instead of just shooting it once the hogs located them?

i thought it was normal behavior to have a dog apprehend the hog and then we come in and slit throat or stab them in the heart

I've never heard pits being used that way,as hunting hounds lol.I'll have to look out for that ep when they replay it.

This is the most common way or removing hogs live. The dogs grab the ears and pull the head to the ground allowing hunters to hog tie the pigs.
