I had one a couple of weeks ago...they are awsome fish...they can be kept with anything that wont pick on them and fish that dont look like them...my odoe killed my jardini so i got rid of him...dont keep him with arowanas...i had a gar, pbass, juruense catfish, and widebar dat and they all got along.....but like i said DONT put them with any fish that resemble them such as arowanas,barracudas,and atf cuz they will get killed by the odoe...they have wicked teeth...GL

Yeah, really cool fish, but absolute Arowana killers. I finally had to give mine away after he killed a couple silvers. The second one he killed was much larger than the pike, so I thought it was safe......wrong. Found it shredded on the bottom of the tank after a few weeks of co-existence.

my odoe isnt going to kill this arow but i think im going to have to move him cause hes either being picked on by the gar or pbass. on the one pic of the arow u can see the odoes head sticking in the pic in the back right side of the picture so u can see the size diff. he not that small but being in the back of the tank makes him look smaller then he is.

i had mine with some atf and some catfish. he was fine all fish wheren same or bigger than him. plus they had alot of space.

mines in with a senegal,delhezi,2 x jack dempseys.hopefully,everything goes well.only time will tell

Mine is in with a Dat and an adonis plec at the moment. Soon tobe joined by an RTGG. No problems as such as long as the odoe stays out of the way of the Dat otherwise the dat gives it a hard time. The odoe didn't like the 12" bala that was with it for a few months though.

mine is about 10-12"''s and will leave deep cuts in my pbass sides or mess up there fins, really tempermental will eat shrimp, pieces of fish and silversides but not much live anymore. he does not mess with anyother fish but my pbass but when he was smaller he would attack my little clown loaches but i saved them all. does anyone know how to tell male/female and does anyone have one that has red coloring in the anal and dorsal fins, because mine shows great red coloring but my brothers doesn't and looks way smaller buit he has had him for atleast 4-5months longer then me and in a bigger tank!
Still my favorite top water fish and would love to have a school of them for show!!!!
