Yes. Look at my threads in my sig line. Look at my youtube channel, I have a video on there with all my overflows, plumbing, where my drip output is. I just drip into the sump right where the pump draws water in to pump it back up to the tank.
you can add the drip anywhere. once you get everything set up you need to find out how much you are actually dripping. it's faster than you think.
1. take a stop watch and see how many seconds it takes to fill 1/2 cup.
2. Now multiply the seconds by 32 = seconds for one gallon.
3. Divide that number by 60 = minutes for one gallon.
4. Divide 1440 by the number above= Gallons per day.
It doesn't take very fast dripping to get 10 gallons a day. I had to calculate my exact flow as I am dosing salt and baking soda in my cichlid tanks so I need to know how much to add per day.
