here are my new gold wolffish

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
nice pic up. i wish mine were that small when i got 'em. mine are now 8", 7" and 6". i keep them all in the same tank with a bunch bichirs. be sure they have hiding places to retreat to when they get nippy and they should be fine together.

ya im already kicking myself in the butt. I tried to put them in the same 10 gallon being so small but one took a chunk out of the others tail so i moved one to a ten gallon that has no lid but i only put 5 gallons of water in it cause i knew they were jumpers but i didnt think at that size he could jump out of the tank but he did and now im down to one:( I put duct tape all around the back of tank were the one still lives. The only open part is were the filter flows in. I am so mad i lost the other one. lessoned learned. If they say jumpers then i guess it doesnt matter how much air space to the top of tank you leave.

oh dude sorry to hear that. i could have told you they are incredibly adept at jumping. i have a very, very heavy lid on my tank and my big goldie used to ram the top of the tank so hard it woke me up one night. the first we i had him i thought he'd kill himself slamming into that lid. i had the water level down about 6 inches from the top. he eventually stopped but not before splitting his face open rather nicely. sorry for your loss.

Nice wolf, sorry to hear about the one that jumped...but at least u still have one. What did u do with your common wolves..? Were they aggressive at all besides jus sitting around. I have noticed as the get older and bigger and establish a territory they only move around at night. Either way good luck...
