I got a 60gl and glued a bunch of glass pcs together... What do you think?

I am real concered with the last pc of glass (last pc on the left) that I might have made it to tall.

The Sump is suppos to be 50% sump and 50% Grow out tank.
I also added a pic of my Pumps power (GPH) to show if something will not match up.

Thanks:D

Looks pretty good. Do you plan on using some scrubbies or bio balls in it or is it just a sump, no wet/dry? Also, are you planning on drilling the tank for your return pump? If so I highly recomend www.glass-holes.com for the hole saw and bulk head.

The last panel may be a little high. What concerns me about it is that it may not allow much room for extra water when the power goes out. I did my final baffle about 4" high. Also, with it that high you won't want your water level much higher than that so you may end up with a waterfall sound all the time. Also, if you have much evaporation you could very easily end up having your pump run dry.

I plan to use bio balls and ceramic rings. The Wet/Dry is in the works (not sure if I am but thinking of it).
The way I do water changes is with the pump off and I fill everythinmg up including sump... then turn the pump on

wow huge pump for such a small sump. btw is that a Flowserve built pump?

Eric how big are your overflows and the pipe diameter that feed the sump?

the PVC is.... I think 1 1/2" Diam all the way down to the Sump.

Your killing me big dogg...lol
Ive been running this pump on my 300gl since I got her going... as a matter a fact I have a bootleg 40gl rubbermaid tub (maybe 50gl) slammed with bioballs and ceramic rings. No problems thus far.

It is going on a 300gl tank

I have such a high GPH so my fish get a river feel;)... plus all the pooh goes to one side... right to the intake of the filter

It sounds like a tornado in the tank but it isnt at all

Okay... I took out the last panel and cut it down to 4" high... what do you guys think now??

I re-did it and let it dry yesterday... so Im going to try to run it tonight
