he stopped growing for like a week and turned bright orange but now he is back to the red and white and seems to keep growing.

turn your volume all the way up and listen around the 15 second mark, you can here is teeth against the glass.

How can you tell he stoped growing for 1 week??

How big is he now and how big was he when you got him? I'm not a big fan of these guys but that is one good looking fish.

the color, its kind of a guess, but normally when he slows down growing, he turn more orange, and when he is growing again he has more white.

i measured him him about 3 months ago and he was 7", i would say he is a good 9-10" now. thanks, i really like him a lot. he is never boring.

thanks, hopefully he looks sweet. mine never went through a peeling stage at all. He is spoiled, he gets a 125g all to himself and gets plenty of attention.

it was like i said before, i believe color is what gave it away and he didn't eat as much, but now thinking about it, it might have been the water. i forgot that week we had a little water softner problem.
