Hey guys, back again!

So I got my new tank and wow is it HUGE, well to me and compaired to my other tanks it is anyways. I will take some pics of it here in a min and post them.

Couple questions for ya though.

What filter would you use on this 220 gallon tank? I am thinking of buying some bad ass filter for this tank, just not sure what one to get. I do have 3 canister filters I am setting up on it that are rated for up to 100 gallons, but I would rather just run one supper efficient bad ass filter, or maybe just 2 filters, one on each side.

Also, how would you clean these filters? each one of my canister filters has 2 white pads, a blue sponge pad, bioballs, activated charcoal, white ammonia eating crystals and some round white pores looking rock things with holes through them.

Also, I was feeding my ray some live blackworms and I knocked the whole damn bucket into the water scattering about 1/8th of a pound of worms all over the water, lots got sucked into the filters and the fish over ate like crazy, would this be a good time to clean the filters in the tank?

is your new tank drilled or reef ready?

a sump is the best for something that big or maybe an fx5 if you can afford it.

Well, finally got the new 220 gallon tank filled with water, took 3 days for my RO system to make the 2000 pounds of water.

I took some pics of hte new setup and put the stingray, bala sharks, eels and discus in there. They srue seem happier already! I haven't put in any of my decore or did any lighting yet, but will here soon. I ended up using natural sand right out o the Ocean (Boy did the cloud the water up for a while!) and will have osme natural driftwood coming soon for decore.

Well here are some pics if the 220. Below that there are some pictures of the new tank I moved my other fish into.

Coming along nicely! Ray looks very healthy. and that is the most.. unconventional cichlid/community tank I've ever seen... and almost positive thats not a midas. and the bottom pic, top of the center rock pile, def a peacock cichlid. and FYI.. the clear tubes won't fool the fire eels for long if at all... lol.. They're very smart fish.

haha, yeah the fire eels seem to be veary smart fish. That tube was actually for the ghost knife but he wont leave the skull to even find that tube. I have now buried 4 black PVC pipes n the sand for them to hide in.

the ray seems happy now, loves to bury himself in the sand with just his eyes popin out. For some reason he is sepnding alot of time floating to the top of the water and sticking his eyes out, not sure if he is just playing or if he does not like the water quality or something.

Yeah, the cichlid tank was never meant to have that mix of fish in it, but its ok, the big orange guy is taking care of all the smaller fish (We will just say he is eating good)and soon it will just be the cichlids in there.

I have 3 canister filters and 1 in tank UV with a sponge filter, the 3 canisters are rated for 100 gallon tank each, and the UV one is for up to 150 gallon. 2 of the canister filters have built in 9w UV lights also.

Do you think I need to change my filtration or is this setup good?

Also, my PH is really high, its around 8. I made a mistake of adding about 40% regular water instead of going 100% RO. Should I be conserned? and what would you do to correct this?
