jcardona1- thanks you very much for all the info. I have started reading rex grigg's site and there definetly is alot of info on there. i did see the info about the break down of cost in seachem versus dry. It was a very informal read in deed. i had come across a site as i was looking for dry bulk ferts that gave directions for mixing the dry ferts in 1 liter bottles of water. Is that the normal way of doing it or do you dry dose the tank. That one site was the only I have seen so far that talked about it. My virus software erased the link or I would post it. All of this dry fert stuff is kind of over welming at the moment but I have high hopes that as soon as I get going with it, it won't be so bad. Thanks alot
