you also seem to have a snail or parisite infestation in your aquarium. most likely do to lack of filter matenince and or water changes.

^^Agreed, could also be from leaving uneaten food in there too long. Anything that isnt eaten within an hour or so should be taken out or it will ruin your water params and cause you a world of problems.

if i feed him het has maybe a second of 3 a 4 en then its gon, i think from the snail explosion. i have a planted tank, with glossistigma, a carpet plant. and every week an waterchanges 40%. i think the problem is my plants. i gonna make this dag an frontal photo shot.

What do snails have to do with a lack of tank maintenance?

Your snails probably came from the plants. It is almost impossible these days to avoid snails with live plants. they don't hurt anything anyway, they are excellent scavengers. If you want a good way to reduce their numbers, you can make a trap using a film canister. It doesn;t take long to get rid of all of them if you use a trap every day. I usually just leave the snails. Snails are not related to lack of maintenace or over-feeding.

nothing, i dont have any lack in my tank, and i dont say i had any lack in my tank :S

PH 6.6
GH 5.9

if you leave power or canister filters running constantly without matenince snails and other parisites start to grow and live in them, this is a fact as i have had experience with it (shamefully) but never the less.

there's is also the good chance they hitched a ride on his plants. but i assumed the worst.

sorry, umm i cant understand all the word you said, i am dutch. What i understand is that i have an parisite, but i have the gibbus just 4 day's. and my tank is running from the first of november 2007, the other fish i had in it was 3 P.cariba's. the tank looks very green because the plants and the lamp that is shinning on it.
