you're going to school in HK? or just for vacation? are you not keeping fish any more? See anything cool there in Hong Kong?

nope, i'm gonna be near in school near u ( in LA ) ,just a lil vacation in HK .... and ya know, dorms only allow 10gallon ^^;; so no more monster for a lil while ( unless its monster enough to go in the 360 gallon right away at home for my dad ) but dont worry i'll be back strong once i'm done with college :P

in HK, i'm seeing tons of nice stuff that i can only dream of taking back
lates microlepis (big eye), lates japonicus, lates niloticus (both royale and not), lates calcifer , lateolabrax japonicus , coroperca sp.
lutjanus sp. ( mangrove snapper, and the other one with a black dot )
a type of freshwater grouper, dunno if its legit or just one thrown in fw
berda ( but with yellow fins, so i guess those r the local ones they thrown in fw)
frt for cheap o.O
batman leos
mahseers hanging in bags
a nice size Spinibarbus denticulatus
and i just love those huge pareltroplus or whatever those madagascar fish are called , i know small ones r easy to find, but seeing a 13-14" is pretty cool
platinum jardini
snow aro
nice stuff ...too bad i cant bring x_x

anyway, sigh.... bambusa..... someday....

were you able to get some pictures? there are a lot of nice fish in Hong Kong, the past 2 times I went there I didn't see much.

The fish got here in great condition, they were packed well and started swimming around within minutes of being in the tank.
Thanks again, I'm definitely happy with my purchase!

good to hear :) they're cool aren't they?

Yeah, they're really interesting fish, pretty cool behavior! I also really like how easy it is to tell the difference between male and female, the female's head is much larger.

i got yelled at for snapping pics at several stores xD i looked through at what i manage to snap, none were visible :| stupid camera phone doesn't have fast enough shutter to capture fish even though its 8.1mp D:

i got to see some nice fish, all thanks to another hk mfk member's guidance : D
