If it works, get it cleaned up as much as possible with hot water. Buy those polishing filters and fill it up with pot scrubbers and just use it till it stops working. Do you know how many gph it is?

I have the same thing and it works great. I've had it for 9 months and it's still going strong. I have no idea about the parts though.
 
Odessa filters are knock off's of Eheims. They manufacture Eheims and basicly stold the design. You can use Eheim repair parts in most cases along with Eheim pads and media.
