He was eating Hikari massivore delight, Hikari cichlid gold (sinking), and Hikari sinking carnivore pellets. I never really fed him frozen or prepared foods. I am sure he will eat the shrimp sooner rather than later.

he/she should be getting large enough u can tell what sex it is. if it's anal fin is rather large and muscular its a male, if its not too big then its a female.

Yea I am thinking female. But I have decided I am going to work VERY hard to get atleast a 125 or 150 for this guy. He is way too cool to have in a pond. Thanks again guys.

well hopefully your hard work will pay off......idk if i'd put one of these in a pond, they are good jumpers and seem to wonder after they jump.

i myself am working hard for a 55 so i can get more of the smaller species lol.
