Ughh some people really don't think. Ill bet it was in the river for a while 2.5 pounds is rather large for an inexperienced hobbyist's tank.

that's true. or they just waited way too long to get it out of a small tank and somehow it survived.

Correct, but I believe the "Here we go again" title was refering to yet another Pacu being caught and labeled as a piranha by the media to garner attention.
