i really dont know i here that they dont need brackish and then fully salt but i also heard that they dont need brackish or salt and that they are fine in fresh water. i had these guys for awhile now and they have grown alot and eat like crazy but if they ever start looking sick i will move them to a brackish tank.

im pretty sure then need to be in brackish sometime, they cant live in freshwater forever. it causes them to die early. do a search, i know this has been talked about b4
 
true snowflakes need brackish at least... gold dust/spots may be ok for life in fresh but its a risk.... these morays are a lot more prone to getting stressed and stoping feeding the lower the salt content. They should be ok for a while but if they look stressed or stop feeding brackish brackish brackish!

And nice fish! oh and learn to stand still, suport urself when you take pics!
 
Nice fish! I like the JD's, Blue Acara and Jag. I am awful at taking pics as well.

thanks for all the posts. i will take some better pics tonight for every one im going to eventually put my snowflakes in a brackish because im geting 4 monos and 1 silver scat and i got puffer fish and archer fish. the pics of the puffers will come but if i do it now my puffers and archer will be food for my eels.
