Wow, very intresting story. About 2 months ago I had my big Tiger O jump out of my tank trying to eat the pellets I had in my hand as I feed him and land on the floor. They can get very excited when it comes to feeding time..........

my quaker parrot fly into my tank when he was younger, luckily the tank had plastic bracing just above the water line that kept him from falling in completetly, the fish didnt try anything and i got him out in under ten seconds

Wow, I would've been panicking a lot. Glad the baby bird made it out alive. Bet he won't be trying that again.
