I have been told Cigarette lighters work. I had a predatory fish only tank so I used to just let them be.

But then again sometimes overkill is just plain fun.
 
Hope you did the snow 1st burner second least you need go back and boil the rock to get the possible bacteria or toxins from the snow off the rock - (Acid Rain)
 
Ohhh...Didn't think of that. Thanks OtherOne. I was wondering what I had to do to it to put it back in the tank. Will that also take the dead bacteria and featherdusters off of the rock?
 
See, with live rock. Do we not pay for all the micobacteria on there? Does boiling it and killing everything then scrubbing it esentially not make it dead rock? Why bother paying the price of live rock if your going to kill everything ?
