Here's my DIY wet/dry...

drawer like cabinets will be better to change the filter floss. the bucket is hard to take off (we did it once, and you know it will be a problem). put some pot scrubbers or bio-ceramic rings, sumberge the ceramic rings and let the bioballs on top. and add some more water.. it is too low..if it gets to the pump you will have a problem.

1/3 of the bio-materail (scrubbies) should be submerged. A baffle between the pump and the other sump area will adjust this.

The bio-material should be suspended above the bottom (for circulation and detrious that missed the filter will accumulate there).

Match your pump to the overflow, the pump should not over-pump the sump.
