I just picked this one up yesterday. I finally managed to get a picture:grinno:.

Im not sure what kind it is but, I couldnt leave the LFS without it. I ordered 1 more and it will be in next week.

I will take a wild guess at ocel just for fun though it is impossible to really tell at that size

I know you will be hooked Good luck :)

Thanks and yes it was VERY stressed when I took that picture. It traveled across the country,got plunked into a tank at the LFS and then uprooted and Plunked into my 125g the very next morning. He's settled in now and eating hikari bloodworms and omega one flake. I ordered one more tankmate and it should arrive at the LFS next Thursday.

I will see if I can get more pictures up today:popcorn:
 
Congrats on the pickup, looking forward to more pics. I am terrible at id'ING young cichla but its fun to try and compare what I think it is with what the cichla experts know it is lol. Either way welcome to the world of pbass, I think you are going to like it here!:headbang2
