He's cool, i just got two jags a little while ago, they are the best eaters i have. Theyre the only fish i have that eats pellets, live, flakes, and anything else i try to feed him.

If you want him to start eating pelletized or frozen food - simply put - stop feeding him guppies. Get him used to the idea that your presence in front of the tank means food is coming - drop in a few pellets and he should strike. If not, keep coaxing him and conditioning him to associate you with food. I would also be amazed if he would not take frozen bloodworms - there are few fish that wouldn't. holy crap ! did'nt know they got that mean ! i cant get mine to accept pellets or frozen yet ,any advice?

he iss trying to bit me through the glass i stuck my hand in once to rearrange some rock work while they where spawning and he came all the way over to the other corner of the tank and bit me drawing blood lol
