Herichthys Carpintis max size in the aquarium?

I remember on another website someone posting their texas stating it was 17"... It was huge looking as it dwarfed the oscar in the pic with it. But 17" sounds like it's pushing it.

I agree, The vontehillo grow extremely fast, in 4months I have a couple 5" males

I think they all grow fast depending on how much you feed, i have mine with Flowerhorns and he has hit 4" from 1" in just under 3 months, same rate as my Flowerhorns.
