Herichthys carpintis x ex-Cichlasoma festae

Never jump to conclusions of FH. A Flowerhorn technically has to have a "Flower" on the horn/head if you wanna get into it. Pretty much anything could turn out to be a "Red Texas" since 1 batch can yield 4 to 5 different looks/variant/what have you. Hell, even a Texas and Synspilum could do the trick, because of the uncertainty of look/variant/and what the hell have you, lol.

That is my sole purpose or reason in the hobby this point in time for me. I am trying for hybrizing purebreds, and everyone can have their opinions on that including me. So get this and evaluate it very closely and carefully..." I will be selling guns and bullets, but it does not mean I agree or encourage murder by guns. "

Guns don't kill people....People kill people

I guess I should've kept my .02 in my pocket lol. Atleast with this subject. I would be interested in what their fry turn out as.

A flowerhorn is a specific strain of fish, whereby you get more of it by breeding it with itself or... other fish. A green texas x festae won't produce a flowerhorn - not possible at all. You can't make your own 'diy' flowerhorns from stuff that's not already a flowerhorn. You can make 'diy' red texans tho, because well read my last post.
