Beautiful colors! What is the max size of this species?

Deppi have always had my eye! Never had the opportunity to have 1 though... Have you had the chance to see how their attitudes are? Any input??

What's this of a BIGGER tank?

I had another 8ft tank built again, but its 4ft wide. I only filled it up yesterday, so still waiting for the water to clear.

Oh Yes, I just got some of these guys from Rapps and after seeing your pics I'm so glad i did. Now i have somthing to look forward to. How aggressive are they?

Its a bit hard to say really. The female is showing more aggressive behaviour than the male, this is certainly down to her wanting to spawn. Like most cichlids i would imagine they could get quite aggressive when breeding. Individual fish would appear more tolarant.

Again tank size and inhabitants will have a big influence.

Male fish can reach 8", Females 6".
