So females don't show the classic dark blotch in the dorsal?

I had a group of three deppi, the two smaller of which showed the dark "female" dorsal. Sadly I'm down to one.

Yes females show the classic dark blotch on the dorsal like in this earlier photo i took of the pair.

But the blotch can fade with mood change, The blotch won't be apparent all the time.

Thanks, on the carpintis I've owned the blotch was visible 100% of the time.
