Generally doesn't bother other fish, easy to feed, and really responsive to me already. Simply awesome fish for sure!
Lol, that's the typical story of most people that try herichthys for the first time. My first attempt was with Bartoni. I was a good fish keeper but inexperienced with those type fish. I order 8 of them at 1". I dumped them in there own 30g and thought I would be good for several months until I could get a pair from them. About 5 weeks later when they were 1.5-2.5" I came home to a lone male eating some eggs on a rock and 7 very dead shredded fish (or at least what was left of them). It was a good lesson learned. Now I know to start growout groups in a 125g and watch them like a hawk. As soon as any breeding starts I move pairs to divided tanks.
