I figured that after seeing the pics on other forums and MFK threads. Might look into a 180 this summer..

Well I got them into the tank and they are doing great! They don't have much color yet but they are still rather small. My Oscar doesn't seem to care much. He has told them who's boss but not in an aggressive way. I can see one for sure male and the other two are unknowns right now. Feel free to comment.

they look good already,just give them a little time and watch how the color changes and how fast they put on size.keep up the good work
Thanks! They seem to be doing really well and are getting along with my Oscar very well. To bad they don't color up and stay the size they are at right now...

Looking good and will only get better. Pearsi are hands down my favorite Cichlid. Such great personality and temperment for such a large fish. You will be amazed how fast these guys grow and although it takes awhile for them to start showing their true colors they are a truely rewarding fish to keep. I must say you picked a good tankmate for an Oscar and I wouldn't have thought of it. Both have the puppy dog personality and are very owner responsive. Enjoy your fish.
Im really looking forward to them showing their true colors! This is when I will decide which one or pair I will keep and which I will sell. Won't I be able to sell them for more if they have matured to their true color pattern? I'm already seeing which one has more personality then the other two!
