They sure do. Mine were at about 10" at a year and are presently maxed out at about 14". They do love and need the veggies. Here's pics of mine. I don't have a great camera.

Definitely agree that this is a chill fish and that they grow fast! I have one myself. Mine jumped from 3" to 8" in 7 months.

Yea agree wiht every one i have 1 my self and really nice fish

Nice fish Sean that black background might be working against you though for their coloring keeping them a darker shade. I have also wanted to raise some of these guys out hear nothing but good things form people who have enjoy.
