whats min. tank size for a pair? or for a solo?

I kept some 3" ones for about a month. They seemed too docile, once a couple got murdered by my Carpintis. I traded them in.

They very well could be the real deal...you never know.

Fish like these are cool for folks like us...but sometimes harder than heck to sell for LFS.

I see no reason for suspicion, even if you have no luck catching up to the breeder. You'll be able to tell what they are in a few months. Get some.

If you saw half the stuff I've seen after working in the industry you would know its ALWAYS good to be suspicious with uncommon fish. I don't have the tank space to growout unknown fish just to find out they are hybrids or something down the line... Plus it would likely take quite a while to figure out what they are, they're slow growing if they are what they say they are.

I regret giving mine away. I'd get a batch to grow out for that price.
