Coconut fiber is usually much cheaper than sand, and will be worth it in the long run (way less headaches). Thanks for the info on sexing, I never knew that. Any update on how its doing?

well i haven't been able to get fiber yet, so not much different. i have discovered, though, that if i spray her directly, she will come out and move for a little bit, then settle down again.
any ideas on something cheap and small that sand would be good for then? i already got a 40 lb back at home depot for like $5
