If/When you have some for sale PLEASE let me know. I've had these before and I'd love them again. I was lucky enough to find them as unidentified cichlids among a group of WC Bujurquina sp. for only $8 a piece. I certainly don't think i'll be getting that lucky again.
I kept 4 in an 80 gallon tank. They were quite hard on one another. They fought til I was down to one, a very young female and assumingly the only one in the group and she was later killed by a female Astatheros alfari.
They were perfectly fine with other fish just seemed highly aggressive toward one another. I would definitely keep sexually mature individuals (males esp. if keeping more than one) in larger tanks.
They're one of the more fun to watch fish I've ever had. Very personable, active and quite pretty especially in person.

There are a handful of cichlids that have enchanted me to this degree and this is the one that got away for me. My last one rests in peace in my freezer lol. So I mean it when I say I want them. Please keep me in mind when you get babies!
