Heros notatus spawning

Hey Ryan just a random question, I got some notatus from you last year and the male I held onto looks great except it doesnt have that black bar that goes down the back like your male does. Is this common or do I have some new mutation going on here lol?
My F1 males that I kept don't show the rear bar, either. I have a couple males from two different spawns and they all have great color and spots, but no bar through the back. They do show the little partial bars on their flanks like their dad, though.
Come to think of it, my females don't really show bars most of the time either. I only see bars on them if they're being chased or harassed by tankmates (usually other severums).

Wish I could see your fish! I assume it's a video? For some reason some videos don't show up on my iPhone. I'm rarely on a computer. 
Ya mine has the partial bars like his dad. No worries tho the fish looks awesome anyway lol
