JL had very good advice, think I'll print and give it to my kids. Go in person, it is much easier to blow somebody off if your busy and they are on the phone. And look presentable. Clean cut, no pants at your knees, boxers showing, etc.

because im trying to get a job also
and the owners a younger guy
he really opens up to me discounts calls me by name for atleast 6 mounths now
u think it wud matter if i dressed up?

Well, at least dress nice. A nice dress shirt, dress pants, and such. It will make him now you reeeeeally want the job.

I would go in and ask them if they need help, especially since you already know them. Depending on where you want to work, it will depend on what you are going to where. It is always good to dress up and be clean, but for a herp store you dont need to wear a suit, just be presentable.

hey, iv been tryin to get my buddy to hire me for a long time, it just doesnt happen. most guys who own shops arent finacially stable anyway, and the fact your so young doesnt help. get some experience under your belt and try when you get older. or better yet, start breeding your own animals, sell em, and start your own business out of your house!
