Herping in Georgia ***Load Warning***

I live near Harrisburg and I've only seen lizards up in the mountains and they were 5-Lined Skinks. But I guess we do have fence lizards as well but I've never seen any.
 
Cool pics man...do you remember what town the cabin was in? I ask because my uncle has a cabin in the same mountain range in Ellijay, GA
 
That's a southern fenced lizard, they're all over my yard but I can never catch them. I used to have a pet five-lined skink, he kept the blue tail through his whole life which I thought was kinda weird but very cool. I had no clue they had scorpions in Georgia either!!!! Cool photos.

I'm like 2 hours from Harrisburg, I think..maybe a bit less. I guess I should have figured we had those fence lizards, my biology professor is doing a project with them at my old college. I have yet to see one in the wild tho.

I totally forget the name, but I'll find out for you. Anyways here's a picture of what it looked like off our deck. Not a bad view for a game of beer pong. :D
