It is sold in drug stores for people to soak their foot in...or use as a laxative that's where I bought mine.

Yes, it's a very common product, and little old ladies even soak their feet in it.

Perhaps phone around & see if one of the pharmacies or chemists in your area can deliver some for you?

the generic name is magnesium sulfate "soaking aid, laxative". usually in a 1.8 kg carton. very inexpensive. on the shelves at any pharmacy & big grocery store over here in USA.

although he's still very dark in color, he's had a good dinner (he went mad for it) he seems withdrawn, but atleast he's out and eating
