its now the fourth day treatment of my redspotted severum,he is showing signs of recovery but he is not pooping and there are a lot of string like thin hairs in the water and im not sure if its a white waste or just dirt,
should i only add him to my main aquarium when he got brown/black waste???,i think ill treat him until to fifth day treatment which is tommorow and after i will water change all the water and then i just watch over him a few days to see if he is fully recovered with brown/black thick waste
ill appreciate every help/advise

my severum have symptoms of constipated disease,if its the case and he isnt eating and he got a huge belly also he is fatter then my other redspotted, does the eposm salt that i give him helping to consipation or should i look for another medicine????

If the fish is eating try feeding it a skinned green pea. The epsom salt should act as a laxative but the pea will also help it go. I would not put the fish back into the main tank for another week or so after treatment is complete. Observe it's waste and make sure it's eating normaly. Other than the pea I wouldn't feed it for a couple of days, to allow the gut to rest.

he is not eating if i would give him green pee he wouldnt eat it just like hikari and jbl pellets that i tried,i could force feed him green pee,but honestly i dont feel yet even with the intensive medicine and the high dose of metro and force feed eposm salt that he is gonna to recover im still not sure wheter to continue to force feeding him the thing its just so stressfull and he is already very fat,he might be more active and behaving more normal but he is still got white faeces,i wont add him to my main tank after the treatment as u said ill wait a weak and a 1/2 or so
yep i will follow his colour of waste as boring as it sounds,

its now 2 days since his 5 and a half days treatments have been done, and the white dirt have stopped spreading in the tank after water change,i gave him just now 1tablespoon/5gallon eposm salt,i did force feed him eposm salt with food at the first 3 days of treatment i hope it did actually impact, its only a little push over to fully recovery,as i mentioned his behaviour is positivly changed, his fins arent folded anymore and he swims normally and active considering he is in a 80L tank, instead of the white dirt and no pooping,he is now pooping brown/black particles in the water and he might already healthy but i dont know if that black/brown particles are a sign of healthy poop or not,he might poop just the food i smashed and saturated with water i forced fed him with and thats the result of it
he isnt coming to eat,i think its because he isnt feels great in the isolated bath could he have more cinfidence to eat in a 75 gallon tank??

here is the particles i talked about:

is it a healthy poop??

You sure this is poop or just mashed food out of his gills when you release him after force feeding?

Even if it is his poop, it should be the result of the mashed food....

im still dont know if its healthy poop regardless if its because of mashed food
ill wait more 5 days to watch him over, and drop him food every day hopfully he would eat this and.in case he is healthy he will poop solid normal poop(im sorry the subject is poop)
