Thanks for the compliments... He is a stunning fish, and he is called peixe mal
(portugese for evil fish, lol) Anyway the intentions are to leave him by himself, Don't wanna run the risk of overstocking a tank with him and some others, and from what i've seen we would struggle to get one the same species anyway.
Hes in a 182 litre at the min, so about 40g, which he'll be in for about 8/9 month depending how quick he grows, currently he has plenty fo room to parade around, and have his moody swims. But once he needs a bigger tank i'm gonna put my silver dollar schoal in his tank, then get him about a 200/250litre tank and put it where the silver dollars tank is... It's the only place it would fit, (til he outgrows that too lol). They are only in a 40g at the min :/ Still only juvenile though and some are being taken to the shop soonish as one or two are getting a bit nippy and don't wanna eb getting any tailrot!!!!
I've been considering getting some rbp and putting them in a tank beside or above mal, but don't fancy winding him up cause he won't be able to get at them... The dollars wind him up enough and they are at the other side of the room. He doesn't miss a trick!!! He's a great fish though, settling in well and nibbling away already
